Services Offered

Ummeed provides a variety of services to children with various developmental disabilities. Typically, the family's first contact with a professional at Ummeed is with the Developmental Pediatrician, who provides the overall assessment of a child. Based on the assessment of the developmental pediatrician, the child may be referred to other professionals for various other assessments and/or ongoing care/therapy, which would depend on the individual needs and requirements of the child.

Often however, families directly approach Ummeed for an appointment with a specific therapist or for a specific assessment, such as, a language assessment, an IQ assessment, an educational assessment, an occupational therapy assessment, or a physiotherapy assessment.

Following the visit to the developmental pediatrician and/or therapist, the assessment reports are discussed with the family and further course of care and management is determined, if necessary.
